Job Description

Are you an experienced sales professional with a hunter mentality and positive attitude? Do you excel at communicating with C-level executives and developing lasting client relationships? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you! Our established HR firm is seeking a hardworking, self-starting, highly motivated, Business Solutions Adviser in the Southern California area.

 

This position is remote, and requires someone with consultative sales experience selling intangible services, such as: Payroll, Human Resources, and/or Safety Risk Management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with C-level executives; generating new contracts and developing relationships with potential and current referral sources. The individual will be responsible for promoting the overall goodwill of the firm, while enhancing our position in the region by initiating general and targeted sales/marketing activities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Generates new client opportunities through cold-calling, referrals, and marketing activities, etc.
Performs sales through existing relationships, as  well as growing the business through sourcing new customers.
Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
Develops agreements, contracts, and pricing strategies as appropriate.
Develops marketing plans, sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, win strategies, schedules and action items. 
Follows up during progress of contracts generated to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintains accurate reports. Formats to include information on activities, contacts made, expenses, new client opportunities, follow up required, etc.
Attends remote monthly goal progress meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications and Skills -

• 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the HR, compliance, payroll, business banking or insurance industries.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or equivalent.

• Proven sales results and ability to create new business.

• Ability to sell and present intangible solutions for clients.

• Driven self-starter with ability to work independently and without day-to-day supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational and negotiating skills.

• Ability to close deals.


Additional Information

Salary: Competitive Base Salary, DOE + Commissions.
